Popular west Fort Worth wine bar/restaurant Winslow's Wine Cafe now has a second branch in Oak Lawn: Winslow's Cedar Springs is currently in soft-opening mode at 3908 Cedar Springs, in the space formerly occupied by sandwich and coffee spot Buli (and more recently, the short-lived Daily Juice).
The simple, one-page menu includes wine-friendly fare like charcuterie and cheese plates, red coconut curry mussels, flatbreads, and sandwiches, including a tasty-sounding assemblage of bacon, wine-poached figs, and goat cheese. Joining the wine list is a small selection of cocktails with housemade ingredients like thyme syrup and orange-chamomile bitters.
Winslow's is named for owner Joe Berry's dog, a blue heeler mix that passed away earlier this year at the ripe old age of 14.
All menu items (including drinks) are 30 percent off through today for the soft-opening; Winslow's will then be closed Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with the official grand opening Monday at 4 p.m. Regular business hours will be 4 p.m. to midnight daily. Scope out the menu below:
