During the Dallas summer, a long beer drink fest can leave you hurting if you don't choose your brews appropriately. Enter the session beer.
For the uninitiated (and likely hungover), as the name suggests, session beers are perfect and intended for a long session of sipping and hanging out. They're mildly flavored and modestly priced and have a low APV (usually under five percent). BeerAdvocate has a good definition for aspiring hopheads.
Several beer-driven joints about town have been highlighting sessions this summer. St. Arnold Lawnmower and Full Sail Session Lager are a couple of the most popular, but there are more, and we've highlighted at least one with each location, don't worry.
Check out the map for a dozen restaurants and bars that are perfect for setting up a session, or for planning a session tour (taxis and designated drivers recommended, of course).
