One Art/The Commissary's Chef John "It's A Hamburger" Tesar is filming a new reality show, reports Mike Hiller over at Escape Hatch Dallas. It's a behind-the-scenes kind of look at his restaurant, including staffers and sommeliers. Writes Hiller:
The premise is very Flipping Out, very Rachel Zoe Project: a behind-the-scenes look at a restaurant (the Commissary) and the people who inhabit the day-to-day lives of the staff. In addition to Tesar, the cast of characters is set to include sommeliers DLynne Proctor and Scott Barber. (DLynne is a contributor to the Hatch.)Sounds good. Anything to get the taste of Most Eligible Dallas out of our mouths.
Tesar says tv producers love Dallas and love conflict, two areas in which Tesar has made a mark.
“Of course, there has to be conflict, because every good show needs an arc,” says Tesar.
