Sure, we're gearing up for game six of the World Series, but there's no time like the present to make bets on your respective teams, right, county officials? Dallas County's Judge Clay Jenkins announced yesterday he's betting Texas beer, barbecue and tacos against some St. Louis County dude's local beer and barbecue. In fact, Jenkins is betting tacos from El Mesero, Mico Rodriguez's new place on McKinney. Problem? El Mesero--Jenkins calls it "Mr. Mesero" in his press release, what? We are way behind the times!--won't open until November 13th. So thanks, Judge Jenkins, that makes us look super cool. [DMN]
