African Food Truck On The Way; Allen High School Resto

TRUCKWIRE -- DFW's first African food truck is launching in the next six weeks or so, reports Big D Food Trucks. Acacia Cafe owner Joshua Wrinkle plans to open first in Fort Worth, then Dallas. [BigDFoodTrucks]

PARK CITIES -- Alberto Lombardi's Bistro 31 opens tonight, and Leslie Brenner has some menu teasers over at the DMN. Spotted: salt cod croquettes with piquillo aioli, fricassee of trumpet mushrooms and walnut pistou and a charred tomato soup. [EatsBlog]

ALLEN -- Allen High School students are running their own restaurant, from front- to back-of-house. It's called Blù, and it's open Wednesday-Friday from 11 a.m to 1 p.m. [StarLocalNews via PegasusNews]
