Joule To Expand With "Adult Playground," Food Hall

New, 2 comments

Slinking sexily across the PR newswire is this release from the Joule hotel in downtown Dallas, where things are about to get a whole lot more ... "adult." As part of a year-long renovation project, the hotel is adding "an underground adult playground." Sadly for the classy creepers of Dallas, it sounds more Dave & Busters than Iniquity.

"The Joule's existing subterranean PM Lounge will be completely restyled and converted into an "adult playground" featuring a 600-square foot screening room with seating for 25 and a 1,350-square foot recording studio. The space will also include a bar-lounge finished with custom furnishings and digital elements including karaoke capabilities and other interactive digital features.
They're also expanding the dining options beyond Charlie Palmer with a "new specialty food hall."
Having already dazzled Dallas with modern American cuisine at Charlie Palmer at The Joule, the world-renowned chef is expanding his downtown horizons with a new specialty food hall focused on freshly prepared gourmet foods. The space will feature epicurean stations serving delectables including certified Neapolitan pizzas, fresh-off-the-grill plates and handmade breads and pastries.
The renovations are estimated at $78 million and also include an expanded lobby, new works for the hotel's art collection, guest penthouses and a spa.
