We heard the rumors months ago, but today Whole Foods confirms the news: their Richardson store will close and move to Addison by Spring 2013. According to the PR folks, the new digs are at the Village on the Parkway, and the new location "gives us the chance to build a larger, more modern store at a very high-traffic and visible intersection." They'll move on up from 26,000 square feet to 36,000 and will employ three times as many people. The Richardson store will stay open until just before the new location launches. [Eaterwire]
