Aaron Franklin, Reigning King Of Texas Barbecue, Stops By Oak Cliff's Lockhart Smokehouse For A Bite

Aaron Franklin, of Franklin BBQ in Austin, stopped by Lockhart Smokehouse in Oak Cliff today and had time to pose for a photo. The reigning king of Texas barbecue (or, alternately, Austin "barbecue god") is fresh off a trip to New York City, where city folks lined up for hours to get a bite of his brisket at the Flatiron District's Hill Country Barbecue and even luckier folks sampled his smoked meat at the 2011 Eater Awards party.
