New Place At Perry's Menu; Tortas In Farmers Branch

FARMER'S BRANCH -- Oak Cliff favorite Tortas Las Tortugas has just opened a second location in Farmer's Branch. Because there are a lot of Mexican torta places called Tortugas, owner Raul Solis says a lot of Mexican folks thinking they're local from their respective hometowns. SOMEWHERE -- Avner Samuel, owner of Nosh Euro Bistro, will be opening a third location--he's already got locations in Uptown and, soon, Plano--"in another as-yet-undisclosed Texas city sometime this spring," to be run by Andrew Bell of the now-closed downtown joint Dr. Bell's BBQ.
