Head West For New Down Home Eats

blackdiamond.jpgBud "Eats Beat" Kennedy says there are two new restaurants out in the wilds of Tarrant County worth the time and the drive. First, he recommends the new Kemp's Bar & Grill in Hurst, which is currently only a grill, but you know, technicalities, and their cornmeal-dusted Mississippi catfish. Then, it's to the Black Diamond Smokehouse in North Richland Hills, which used to be a grocery but is now a "ribs-and-beer cafe" that serves ten meats and, wait for it, ham tacos. [DFW.com]
