Bud "Eats Beat" Kennedy says there are two new restaurants out in the wilds of Tarrant County worth the time and the drive. First, he recommends the new Kemp's Bar & Grill in Hurst, which is currently only a grill, but you know, technicalities, and their cornmeal-dusted Mississippi catfish. Then, it's to the Black Diamond Smokehouse in North Richland Hills, which used to be a grocery but is now a "ribs-and-beer cafe" that serves ten meats and, wait for it, ham tacos. [DFW.com]
