Taco Trail Leads To La Nortena

nortena150.jpgJose Ralat Maldonado, taco connoisseur and undaunted investigator of all things wrapped in a tortilla, reviews La Nortena Food Mart in a "rough and tumble section of Lake Highlands." He describes the cabeza taco as "Awesome!" twice and reports that the beef guisada is a "thick stewy delight." Still, business has been slow, and the owner's raised taco prices from $.99 to $1.25 in hopes of staying afloat. Hence, Ralat Maldonado's call: "Patronize La Norteña," because "It’s a happy place that will find your happy place." [TacoTrail]
