CraveDFW's Steven Doyle broke the news to Big D that Joel Harrington has resigned from Stephan Pyles, possibly headed for Beaver Creek, CO.
Pyles' executive chef, featured in book Notes From A Kitchen, will be replaced at the start of 2012 by Kyle Barham, who, Pyles told Doyle, has worked under Pyles, Dean Fearing and Joanne Bondy. Nancy Nichols has word from Harrington that his resignation is "nothing personal" but the result of an offer on which he must decide quickly. Pyles told SideDish he couldn't match the offer.
