It's hard out there for the organic farmer trying to work a farm and get product to restaurants. Vincent Hirth's Texas Organic Network is aiming to ease some of that struggle, allowing farmers time to, well, farm, while chefs get the quality local, organic produce they need for their menus. Cadot Restaurant hosts a fundraiser for the new org tonight from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Attendees can sample produce and shake the hands that tended to it.
