The awkwardly located Brewery Building is back in the restaurant biz. The original home of Dallas Brewing Co. built in 1890 has seen its fair share of tenants, from starched office-types to interactive media to ill-fated restaurants like Cafe Rembrandt. Now it's got two more restos ready to test the culinary waters of the Houston-Continental intersection -- Draft Picks Sports Bar and Grill and Jandro's Mexican Restaurant.
Actually, "brewery" seems to be a big word this week. Lakewood Brewing Company has finally found a new home, albeit in Garland, while Deep Ellum Brewing Company is showing off its progress on Facebook as they near time for Saturday's tour and grand opening celebration.
