Spread Eagle Saloon's Construction Is Wide Open

The breastaurantish Spread Eagle Saloon, of which we brought you the details way back in September, looks to be developing quickly downtown. (Sorry. Ish.) SMU alum and owner Scott Scripps told us earlier in the fall that "we wouldn't classify ourselves as a breastaurant in the same way that Hooter's and Twin Peaks, et al, are," but they will have "a heck of a good looking female staff." Plus: bar food and shots with "racy names."

Today Scripps posted photos of the under-construction restaurant on their Facebook page, and wouldn't you know it, the DirecTV is even up and running.
