Rocco Milano's Limited-Time "Holiday Cheer In A Bowl"

What could be better than Rocco Milano--an Eater Awards "Best Bartender" nominee--pouring you a great drink? Rocco Milano pouring you an entire bowl of booze. That's the plan for December weekends at Private Social, where the respected mixologist will concoct four different holiday punches, available each Friday and Saturday night at Tiffany Derry's buzzy Uptown restaurant. They'll be available at 10 p.m., and will last till they're gone.

Tonight and tomorrow, Milano's mixing up a bowl of Christmas cocktail favorite Tom and Jerry (sugar, eggs, cinnamon, cloves, allspice, tea, dark rum, cognac), and next week it's a Sherry Negus (tea, sugar, lemon, nutmeg, sherry), then on the 16th and 17th an English Cider Bowl (cider, green tea, cognac, sugar, cucumber, sage, lemon) and finally, on Christmas Eve weekend, some good old-fashioned Old English Wassail with wint'ry spices, Madeira, apples and cognac.
