Look, don't get DFW.com's Chris Kelly wrong, he is a super cosmopolitan New York dude who embraces "experimentation, ambition and flair" in all areas of his life, except, it seems, when it comes to eating and drinking. Initially pissed off by a drink served in a box (really) while he was visiting New York City, Kelly's ire continued on a slow burn back in Fort Worth. He writes that he just wants a "good, simple meal," and is tired of restaurants "trying so hard." Like, for example Stephan Pyles' Samar restaurant, where he felt like he "needed a guide to navigate the menu," and Private Social, where the menu is a "mystery." [DFW.com]
