Mon Dieu!, but today is full of French-i-tude in Big D. Long-time Dallas caterer Wendy "We Do This Every Day" Krispin and Kay Agnew, who serves Cajun-Creole affordable gourmet at Margaux's, will jointly open Royal 60, a "Colonial French" outfit in the Design District, reports Nancy Nichols at SideDish. We knew Royal 60 was coming, but Agnew's addition makes for a particularly promising pair. The restaurant will open in the International on Turtle Creek, in "the heart of the Trinity corridor, the city's progressive urban river development." Which is basically a nice way of saying "next to nothing for the next ten or so years." At least Design Districters will have somewhere to fancy eat besides the Meddlesome Moth.
