Hoochie's Oyster Bar Coming To Denton A-Train Stop

Good news for all those Dentonites who've been sweating the wait for the A-Train in downtown without some seafood to snack on: an Aw, Shucks Oyster Bar shareholder told UNT's North Texas Daily he'll open Hoochie's Oyster Bar there this September. Situated in a bright yellow shack near the train stop, Hoochie's may also feature beer specials every time the train horn sounds. According to owner Sam Solomon:

"The name “Hoochie” was once a term given to carefree flapper girls of the early-20th century. “Hoochie’s” was chosen as a name for the oyster bar because it fit well with the patriotic theme, Solomon said.
Solomon also told the student paper that his kids went to UNT, and over the course of nine years of visits, Solomon "fell in love" with Denton. What better way to show one's devotion than with a nice seafood dinner?
