Dallas Morning News food critic Leslie Brenner, for whom Eater Dallas does not yet have an endearing nickname, recently returned from her summer vacation, wherein she ate many delicious things. Her cross-country trip took her from New England to New York City to the Hamptons to Los Angeles. Brenner gushes over the duck at Momofuku in Manhattan and sat next to Julia Roberts at Savory in Malibu. But she says even Motorino, the East Village pizza joint said to have some of the best pies around, doesn't compare to Deep Ellum's Il Cane Rosso. [EatsBlog]
