The Dallas Morning News editorial board turns its eye toward the "food and economic development desert" that is West Dallas along Fort Worth and Sylvan Avenues and the planned Sylvan Thirty mixed-use development project there. Their powerful assessment: the project should not be bad. Rather, it should be good. In fact, it "must be the best it can be." In addition, they determine that it may suck if Sylvan Thirty is not good. That's why "getting this West Dallas redevelopment right is imperative." Getting it wrong would be a bad thing. [DMN]
