As the West Seventh Street district in Fort Worth grows ever more popular, a group of real estate brokers are hoping to get a tax abatement to turn an auto shop into a bar, reports the Star-Telegram. One of the partners has confirmed that a 5,300 square-foot building on West Fifth Street will house a boozing establishment, but wouldn't specify the tenant or the concept beyond that. The Fort Worth City Council will vote on the abatement--around $15,775--and the bar could be open in as little as three months afterward. [Star-Telegram]
