Fast Food Crime Spree

robbers.jpgTwo armed, possibly very hungry, criminals went on an almost-crime spree at two fast food joints in East Dallas last night before they were stopped by police in South Dallas. Driving a Jeep, just after 1 a.m., two men attempted to rob the Taco Bell up on Mockingbird Lane by the DART station, but were "unsuccessful," so the armed men headed off to the McDonald's on Gaston Avenue by Baylor Hospital, where they got away with some cash. Employees called the cops, and after a chase through town, one robber bailed out in South Dallas while the other drove to Fair Park before he was caught. [FOX DFW]
