S?r Opens Tonight; Check Out the Menu

It's finally h?r! S?r, the peculiarly-named, Nana-replacing nouveau steakhouse on the 27th floor of the Hilton Anatole, opens for biz tonight, and if you were expecting typical steakhouse fare—well, think again. The menu is up on S?r's Facebook page and it's rife with clever (dare we say Nana-esque?) twists, from an heirloom tomato salad with ghost chile oil and gin "fizz" to a chocolate-glazed "Big Rib" with green mango and basil.

Media types were none too excited at the prospect of yet another steakhouse replacing one of Dallas' pillars of adventurous fine dining, not to mention that silly name; can chef Anthony Van Camp win them over with his inventive cooking, or will S?r m?rly function as a painful, red meat-laden reminder of the Nana that once stood in its place?
