Arguably the most anticipated restaurant opening of the year, FT33, Chef Matt McCallister's ode to seasonal modern cuisine, bursts onto the booming Design District restaurant scene tomorrow night. (It will then be closed for two days and reopen on Tuesday.)

McCallister has assembled an all-star crew: Brady Williams, formerly of the Spillers Group, is chef de cuisine; Joshua Valentine of the upcoming Top Chef: Seattle will handle the pastry chef duties; and Ryan Tedder, formerly of Stephan Pyles and Grace, will act as both general manager and sommelier. FT33 will lean heavily on local suppliers, including Scardello, Cold Springs Farms, Revival Ranch, Tassione Farms, and Cultivar Coffee. (Sneak a peek at the menu here.)
