Back in July news surfaced that a new British-inspired pub concept from the guys behind the Sherlock's Baker Street Pub chain was coming to the old Hully & Mo space on Routh Street. Now, construction is almost complete and an opening date of October 30 has been set.
According to a press release, the BBC will boast 50 beers on tap (served in "Imperial-size pints", which are 25 percent larger than their American counterparts and will therefore get you a full 25 percent drunker) and another 100 bottled selections, plus specialty cocktails inspired by classic British drinks. Food options will include "classic British standards as well as surprisingly approachable American fare" like herb brioche-crusted fish and chips, mulligatawny soup, and Scotch quail eggs.
The space will feature two courtyard patios, communal seating and live music nightly.
