Taste Trinity Groves; Scottish Rite Fundraiser

WEST DALLAS—Scope out the progress at the new Trinity Groves development while sampling beer from new brewery Four Corners Brewing Co. at Taste of the Trinity tomorrow night from 6 to 8 p.m. Besides brewery tours, the event will also feature bites from Babb Bros BBQ and Jack's Chowhound, live music and duct tape art (no, really). OAK CLIFF—Victoria's Mexican Grill is coming soon to an old two-story house on Willomet Avenue. According to Lauren Drewes Daniels, they'll serve "piña coladas out of real hollowed-out pineapples", which along with the wraparound porches, is more than enough cause for celebration. [City of Ate]

OAK LAWN—Scottish Rite Hospital is throwing their annual Treasure Street fundraiser on Thursday night, and this year's event will feature bites by a ton of big name chefs: Julian Barsotti, Anthony Van Camp, Bruno Davaillion, Janice Provost and more, plus tunes by Dean Fearing's band the Barbwires. Eddie Campbell of The Chesterfield will be on hand slinging cocktails. Check the event website for details. [CraveDFW]
