LOWER GREENVILLE—The Grape is turning 40 next week, and they're celebrating with some notable events. October 23 and 24 they'll offer a $19.72 tasting menu featuring classic 'throwback' dishes like Oysters Rockefeller and chocolate mousse. [Eaterwire]

LOWEST GREENVILLE—Speaking of birthdays, delightfully trashy bar the Single Wide is celebrating its first this Sunday. Festivities kick off at 3 p.m. with karaoke and plenty of alcoholic Tang. [Facebook]

CITYWIDE—According to a recent survey by Match.com, Oak Cliff is the least happening Dallas 'hood for singles. (If you're looking for a hookup, best take yourself downtown or uptown.) Participants voted The Mansion and Reunion Tower—and, presumably, Five-Sixty—as the "most iconic" date spots in the city. [Pegasus News]
