VICTORY PARK—Kim Pierce has some thoughts on the DIY cocktail kits at Cook Hall, opening tomorrow at the W: "If you never go near a bar or a kitchen, you probably should NOT try this" but if you're "a foodie", blending and muddling shrubs, tinctures, herbs, juices and spirits can make for a tasty and fun interactive night of boozing. MOCKINGBIRD—There's a new food truck park opening at I-35 and Mockingbird. Trucks will congregate on the lawn in front of the U.S. Food Trucks building, which is home to a commissary where several trucks prep their menus. According to Pegasus News, "The park will have four to six food trucks at a time and will serve lunch Wednesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and dinner on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday." The official grand opening is this Friday. [Pegasus News]
