Hopdoddy Burger Bar is Open For Biz

Austin import Hopdoddy Burger Bar officially opened for business today at Luther Lane and Westchester in Preston Center.

According to an enthusiastic staffer, they're open until 10 p.m. tonight, so there's still plenty of time to get over there and try a Terlingua burger (that's an Angus beef patty with chili con carne, Fritos, cheddar and "Sassy Sauce") and a Nutella-chocolate pretzel shake. Judging by the raucous din in the background, Park Cities folks are eager to give Hopdoddy's house-ground burgers a try.

Hopdoddy reopens tomorrow at 11 a.m. for lunch.
