Drink and Debate; Dinner With Sharon Hage

MOCKINGBIRD STATION—The People's Last Stand is hosting a presidential debate watch party tonight. (Face it, you're probably going to need a drink or four.) The festivities kick off at 7 p.m. with $6 classic cocktails. [Facebook]

EAST DALLAS—Missing York Street? Chef Sharon Hage will cook a four course dinner at Urbano Cafe's event space, Two Doors Down, next Thursday, October 11 utilizing produce plucked from Tom Spicer's next door garden. The dinner is BYOB and seats are $75 plus tax and gratuity. [SideDish]

DAYTIME TV—S?r chef Anthony Van Camp dropped by the KTXD (you know, that channel that only shows reruns) Texas Living studio today to demonstrate a burger recipe. It featured Sriracha mayo, Monterey Jack and caramelized onions and looked pretty tasty, but who the hell has 230 grams of Wagyu scraps sitting around? [KTXD]
