Morton's The Steakhouse in Uptown has undergone major changes: a new owner, new interior, and a new menu. Morton's was purchased by Landry's Inc. (which owns brands like Rainforest Cafe and Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.) last year, and they're taking measures to modernize the 68-location steakhouse chain. All the dark wood and hideous light fixtures at the year-old McKinney Avenue location are gone, replaced by a sleeker, more modern look with plenty of glitz and chandeliers.

As Escape Hatch reports, the menu has also been expanded but is still, of course, largely centered around slabs of red meat.
