Dean Fearing Takes Hubert Keller to Eat Mediocre Barbecue at Sonny Bryan's

French chef Hubert Keller (of Fleur de Lys in San Francisco, Fleur by Hubert Keller in Las Vegas, and both Top Chef and Top Chef Masters fame) is in town to cook with Dean Fearing as part of the fifth anniversary festivities at Fearing's eponymous Ritz-Carlton restaurant.

The restaurant tweeted a photo of Fearing, Keller and their respective cohorts Eric Dreyer and Laurent Pillard in front of the sign at Sonny Bryan's OG Inwood location with the caption "Mmmmmm - the original!!!". Let's hope that was just a photo op and they then went on to Pecan Lodge or perhaps Lockhart Smokehouse for lunch.
