Matt McCallister's highly anticipated new Design District venture FT33 has announced it will open next Saturday, October 13. According to Escape Hatch Dallas, the reservation line is at (214) 741-2629—no answer as of yet but keep trying if you're dying to be one of the first to taste McCallister's "seasonally inspired modern cuisine", because there are only 33 tables.
Brady Williams, known for his work with the Spillers Group (Eno's, Oddfellows, Union Bear), is playing the role of sous chef, while Oklahoma transplant and upcoming Top Chef: Seattle contestant Josh Valentine will run the sweeter side of the kitchen. Ryan Tedder, formerly of Grace in Fort Worth, will act as both general manager and sommelier.
