New Vegetarian Restaurant Coming to Dallas

New, 2 comments

Vegetarians and vegans have a new dining option to look forward to: Green, a San Antonio-based restaurant with two locations touting eco-friendly interiors and a 100 percent kosher menu, is currently scouting for a location in the Dallas area to be opened in the next year. (As CultureMap Dallas reports, they nearly secured the old Pho Colonial space at Frankford and the Dallas North Tollway but the deal fell through at the last minute.)

Fans of Spiral Diner will find a similar setup on Green's menu, featuring meatless versions of comfort food classics like a Philly cheesesteak, meatloaf and chicken-fried "steak" alongside slightly more crunchy items like quinoa bowls with vegetables, and a full lineup of smoothies and vegan baked goods.
