Food Trucks on TV; Menu Changes at the Moth

ARTS DISTRICT/UPTOWN—Wanna be on TV? Camera crews are in town filming for Eat St., the Food Network Canada show that features food trucks around the country. They'll be filming Three Lions in the Arts District from 10 a.m. until noon on Thursday, and Friday they'll shoot Good Karma Kitchen at 1717 McKinney Avenue. (Hey, maybe Food Network USA can cancel one of Guy Fieri's many shows and pick this one up.) [Twitter]

DESIGN DISTRICT—New Meddlesome Moth chef David McMillan is making some menu changes. Coming soon, diners can expect to see "a pork belly dish with grits and figs, chicken fried sweet breads and fried confit duck wing." [City of Ate]

OAK CLIFF—Smoke's chopped brisket sandwich certainly has garnered a lot of media attention lately. Food & Wine declared it one of the country's best sandwiches a few weeks ago, and now Serious Eats has featured it as their daily sandwich; according to the reviewer, the sandwich is solid but the Pork & Beans plate (with pulled pork, ribs and housemade sausage) is "even better".
