According to a tweet by the man himself, Jay Jerrier was so wowed by the Henderson Avenue pizza joint when it first opened that he was inspired to construct a pizza oven in his backyard—which, of course, eventually led to the Neopolitan hotspot Dallas pizza fans know and love today.
