Next Monday we'll present the 2012 Eater Awards, recognizing the movers and shakers of the country's restaurant scene over the past 365 days. Winners will be selected on both the local and national levels in six major categories, and voting kicks off now. But before we can get to all that, you've gotta vote. (Yes, you.)
Here's how it works: Eater editors have named nominees for Restaurant of the Year, Chef of the Year, So Hot Right Now and Bartender of the Year, plus a new category this year: Stone-Cold Stunner. Eater readers will vote to to narrow the nominees down to three finalists. From those three finalists, the Eater editorial team will select a winner. Ready to cast your vote? Polls are now open for Chef of the Year and will close tomorrow at 10 a.m. Voting irregularities will be strictly policed, so no funny business, alright?
