Taco Talk

laventana2.jpgChalk up a few points for new downtown taco spot La Ventana: DMN critic Leslie Brenner offers early praise for the take-out window's suadero, lengua and barbacoa served on freshly made corn tortillas. Dallas taco fans are likely familiar with suadero (beef breast) as one of the signature offerings at favorite hole-in-the-wall Tacos La Banqueta; La Ventana's tacos come in at $2.29 each, nearly a dollar more than La Banqueta, but still a relative bargain for downtown lunchers or hungry visitors to the nearby Klyde Warren Park.
