Dallas Morning News critic Leslie Brenner reminisces on her year of starring the city's restaurants: The paper handed out only three goose eggs this year (Tillman's, Kinado, and Ocho) and several restaurants received four stars, including newcomers Oak, Sissy's, and Driftwood, but no one earned that coveted fifth star this year (Lucia was the only establishment to achieve that feat last year). Brenner did, however, herald Matt McCallister's FT33 as Restaurant of the Year, an honor that went unbestowed in 2011. [Eats Blog]
