Pepe's Ranch, sibling to longstanding Tex-Mex favorite Pepe's & Mito's, will finally open its doors on Main Street sometime this month. The offshoot was announced way back in June of last year (when co-owner Sandy Rojas described it to Pegasus News as "home-cooking with a Mexican twist"), but a TABC application was only more recently seen in the window at the space which formerly housed the Velvet Hookah. Now, the liquor license has been issued and the interior looks to be finished, complete with rustic wood and brick, striped banquettes and vintage-looking horse head lamps.
A staffer at Pepe's & Mito's says the opening will likely be around Christmas, but to watch their Facebook page for a formal announcement.
