DOWNTOWN—A walk-up taqueria called La Ventana will join El Fenix and the new Meso Maya location to complete the trifecta of Mexican restaurants across from the new Perot Museum (and near Klyde Warren Park). Expect housemade corn tortillas with various fillings, margaritas and Mexican sodas. Both La Ventana and Meso Maya open Monday, December 10. [Eaterwire]

LOWER GREENVILLE—The Libertine debuts a new food menu tonight (just on the heels of its new winter cocktail menu) with offerings like vegan seitan tacos, a "Tex-Med" plate, and a pulled pork sandwich. [@libertinebar]

PRESTON CENTER—John Tesar is doing a special "Feast of the Seven Fishes" at Spoon Bar & Kitchen on Christmas Eve. The seven-course dinner is a "longstanding Italian tradition", though Tesar will no doubt imbue it with some of his Top Chef-worthy creative touches. [Eaterwire]
