Jill Bates of Fearing's Is Dallas' Hottest Chef

The polls are closed, the ballots have been counted, and Dallas has its first hottest chef: Jill Bates of Fearing's. The bright-eyed and glowing pastry pro beat out runner up Jeana Johnson of Good 2 Go Taco and 30 other chefs for the title in Eater Dallas' inaugural Hottest Chef contest.

Bates will now go on to face the other chef hotties from New York, San Francisco, LA, Portland, Miami, Chicago, and other Eater cities for the title of Hottest Chef in the Country. We can't lose this one, Big D. We certainly can't lose this to Houston or Austin, right?

Voting will commence on Eater National Tuesday (Monday is a holiday).
