James Beard Announces Semifinalists

cafegreen.jpgThe James Beard Foundation has released the long list of 2012 semifinalists for Restaurant and Chef Awards. While Dallas proper doesn't make any but expected appearances on the list (Stephan Pyles, Tei-An, Mansion on Turtle Creek, etc.), Café on the Green at Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas in Irving shows for Outstanding Wine Program (In Suburbia). Texas got a few mentions, in fact, including Austin's Paul Qui (Uchi) and Marfa's Maiya Keck (Maiya's) for Best Chef: Southwest, and San Antonio's Jason Dady for Best Restaurateur.
