Today Eater National focused its Tough Doors feature on Franklin Barbecue in Austin, where no cuts in line are permitted and one should get there at 9 a.m. to ensure meat eatin'.
Wondering if the rules apply to TV crews as Franklin hosted Anthony Bourdain and Dallas' beloved "BBQ Snob" Daniel Vaughn for filming of No Reservations. Vaughn tweeted the photographic evidence and it looks like they cashed some slaw, ribs, sausage and what looks like brisket remnants (?), while Bourdain maintained absolute salt-and-pepper perfection (seriously, look at that hair).
And yes, we are so jealous here in humid, humid Dallas.
