In February, the James Beard Foundation released its list of semifinalists for 2012 Restaurant and Chef Awards, and Cafe on the Green at the Four Seasons in Las Colinas made the cut for Outstanding Wine Program.
While finalists won't be announced until Monday, March 19, there's more news on Cafe on the Green: It's losing its chef. According to Cathy Barber over on Eats Blog, Katie Natale worked her last shift at the restaurant Sunday, leaving to become an instructor at Le Cordon Bleu Dallas.
Nancy Nichols suggests, while it's a loss for Cafe on the Green, perhaps Anthony Bombaci should trade his new Hotel Chef de Cuisine position at the Hilton Anatole for a little Four Seasons action, saying, "How lovely would his cooking pair with James Tidwell’s wine list. I’m just saying."
