WEST DALLAS -- While you celebrate (or just accept) the sweeping beauty that is the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge at Bridge-o-Rama, you can also sample the flavors of Sylvan Thirty. Tomorrow from 1 to 4 p.m., near the World Music Stage, Cox Farms Market, Matador Meat & Wine and Pearl Cup Coffee will all offer tastes of what's to come. [Eaterwire]

POLLANWIRE -- According to a SideDish intern, last night Michael Pollan regaled audiences with why Americans fail at eating. His advice for improvement included not eating multi-grain Pringles or anything a third grader can't pronounce. [SideDish]

OAK CLIFF -- Campo Modern Country Bistro is now offering brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Pro drinker tip: The North Bloody Mary involves an oyster, shrimp and house pickled celery. [Eaterwire]
