Hotel St. Germain Hosts A Titanic Fest

Yes, that sinking feeling was correct: "Titanic Champagne Bar" is a real thing.

Hotel St. Germain will be commemorating the 100th anniversary of the R.M.S. Titanic's ill-fated voyage with a week of well, probably delicious, possibly somber events beginning April 10. Most nights will feature the aforementioned bubbly and dessert menu, while other nights hold bigger surprises (no, not that big).

Saturday night's dinner features ship memorabilia and replicas and a meet-and-greet with passengers' descendants. Sunday brunch will be followed by Titanic-themed film screenings of feature A Night To Remember and Raise the Titanic, a documentary.

Reservations are required for all events. Guessing there'll be no iceberg wedge on the menu.

Update: There is now a commemorative dinner on both Friday, April 13 and Saturday, April 14. Kim Pierce over on Eats Blog reports that due to popularity, a second dinner has been added.
