Sometimes pizza is better the next day. FM 1410's Tom Spicer, East Dallas produce icon and cold pizza technician, offered this solid tip on reheating — and seriously improving — cold (possibly less-than-stellar) day-old pizza: "Put it (whole, not sliced) in a really hot skillet upside down for a few minutes then flip it over right side up for a few minutes. I guarantee it will taste better than it did when it was delivered." He also recommends toasting the crust of a cheap frozen pizza (post-microwave) in a hot iron skillet with salt and red pepper flakes, then topping the whole thing with sautéed Spiceman's mushrooms, garlic, ramps and more.
