Phil Romano is expanding eatZi's ... again. After the eatZi's chain "essentially crashed and burned" in 2007, reports Teresa Gubbins, Romano stuck with just the Oak Lawn location, opening only a smaller version on Lovers Lane. Thursday, however, marks the ribbon cutting for Grapevine's new Euro-style market/bakery/cafe, and there are plans for a Plano venture next year [DFW.com]
